Veteran actor Dharmendra has been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, India.
Multiple sources told NDTV that the 89-year-old actor has been in the hospital for the past four to five days. He will turn 90 on December 8.
Sources also said that Dharmendra was taken to the hospital for a routine health check-up.
Earlier, in April, he had undergone a cornea transplant.
In a video shared on social media platform Instagram, Dharmendra is seen leaving the hospital wearing a printed shirt, black pants and a black cap. The actor had to stop to chat with the paparazzi while walking towards his car.
While talking to the paparazzi, Dharmendra can be heard saying, ‘I am strong. Dharmendra still has a lot of strength. I still have intelligence.’
‘My cornea has been transplanted. I am strong.’
In his usual look, Dharmendra also said, “My viewers, listeners and fans, I love you.”
Dharmendra was last seen in the film ‘Teri Baato Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’, which starred Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.
Dharmendra will also be seen in the much-awaited film ‘Ikkis’, which will star Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda.
