
The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is searching for a suspect accused of vandalizing a church sculpture and writing anti-Christian messages on the wall in Queens.
Eyewitness News reported that the suspects attacked three churches in Queens simultaneously on October 5 (Sunday).
CCTV footage shows a man writing anti-Christian messages on the wall of The Refugee Church of Christ on Mott Avenue at around 1:40 a.m. that night.
Four minutes later, the man wrote a hateful message on the building of The City of Aussies Church of Deliverance located next door and fled.
He was last seen committing misdemeanors at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church on New Haven Avenue around 2 a.m. During that time, the suspect also vandalized two sculptures in the church, in addition to writing on the wall.
The NYPD’s Crime Task Force is investigating the incident to arrest the suspect.
